Gjipali: The report has positive reviews, Albania can continue the path towards EU, 08 November 2023
Speaking on various media platforms, Gledis Gjipali, Executive Director of European Movement Albania and EU integration, offered his perceptions on the most recent report published by the European Commission regarding the enlargement package and the corresponding advancements of the countries aspiring to join the EU. Gjipali pointed out that this year’s report includes some encouraging assessments of Albania’s progress toward membership in the EU and that Albania will host its second intergovernmental conference in December to begin discussions for the first chapter group. He also emphasized that Albania has received positive assessments, mainly for anti corruption and judicial reform. Additionally, when viewed from a regional perspective, Albania is more well-regarded in comparison to its neighbouring countries.
