Denmark takes over the EU rotating presidency
On 1 January 2012, Denmark takes over the EU Presidency for the first 6 months of 2012.

Its programme was officially presented on 6th of January at a press conference in Copenhagen. The four fundamental priorities on the agenda of the  EU Danish Presidency during January - June 2012 include :

  • A responsible Europe
  • A dynamic Europe
  • A green Europe
  • A safe Europe
