Bourgogne Balkans Express Association launchs the young leaders' workshop

Bourgogne Balkans Express Association, a French Association composed by students of Sciences Po Paris (Institute of Political Sciences of Paris), open the call for two Albanian young people to get involved in the programme.

Following the success of the former events, the association is organizing, in partnership with the premier cycle of Sciences Po Paris in Dijon, a new innovative workshop, aimed at young Balkan and French leaders. This new project is in line with the previous actions of Bourgogne Balkans Express, which has always aimed at promoting the dialogue on the integration of the Western Balkans to the European Union. While it is essential to hear the debates of experts in order to suggest political, economic and legal solutions, European integration is also that of its citizens. As in the previous years, we are working directly on the project with Pierre Mirel, Director of the DG Enlargement and we will invite experts from all over Europe.

This year, we are planning to invite young leaders, students or representatives of NGOs, from the Balkan countries to participate to the debate - two Albanian young person have the opportunity to get involved in the programme.  The objective is to bring together young leaders of Balkan and French civil societies in order to liven up a debate on the so called "vivre ensemble" a multicultural society countries that should soon notably in the perspective of their accession to the European Union be enforcing important economic and institutional reforms. This would be a mutual rewarding experience. The students could benefit from the high-quality analysis made by the experts while they could have the possibility to give their opinion and share their point of views on different subjects.

The conclusions of the workshops we organized have been published on the website of the European Commission.
