Information campaign on encouraging Shkodra’s youth participation in decision making processes

The project “Youth as agent of participatory democracy and institutional accountability in the municipality of Shkodra”-Albania (Shkodër), supported by Olof Palme International Center, EMA has been a leading manager from 2011-2014. The aim of the project was to increase demand of for institutional accountability towards local government institutions, notably the municipality of Shkodra, Labor Office and Regional Directorate of Vocational Education by stimulating young citizens participation and exerting pressure on these institutions to improve the transparency of their activities and the communication links with the public.
