EMA’ Executive Director, Gledis Gjipali gives his remarks on the 2022 EC’s Report for Albania
During the month of October, the Executive Director of EMA, Gledis Gjipali was invited to several media platforms to give his remarks on the 2022 European Commission’s Report for Albania. He stated that this document assesses the preparation and progress for each chapter, highlighting the most relevant issues and priorities. Gjipali pointed out that there may be noticeable improvements, but the overall progress in areas like fight against corruption and organized crime requires concrete results. Regarding freedom of expression, he said that last year’s recommendations have not been addressed. When it comes to the the liberalization of visas for Kosovo, Gjipali said that EC has estimated that the conditions have been fulfilled, but there are several other issues that affect the finalization of this process.
