Informative materials on Visa Liberalization, February 2011

EMA has the pleasure to share with you the informative materials prepared in the framework of the OSFA funded project “Visa Liberalisation Process with Albania: How to make it a success story” focusing in an information campaign on the rights and obligations deriving from Visa Liberalisation.

“Informative booklet on the Visa Liberalisation Process” and the leaflet “Traveling without visa” aim to increase the information and awareness of public opinion in general on the rights and obligations deriving from the lifting of short term visa regime.

This booklet provides a general picture of the historical context of the process, by pointing out the most crucial moments of the visa liberalisation process. Inside the booklet you will find more detailed information on countries in which you can travel without a visa, duration of your travel, penalties in the case of not-compliance of deadlines as well as the list of required documents which are necessary. Also, a special attention in the booklet is dedicated to certain interest groups such as students, academics and the business community, which EMA considers that will potentially be the biggest beneficiaries of the visa liberalisation. This part of the booklet provides wide information on the EU programs from which Albanian students and academics can profit.

Meantime the leaflet provides shortly and in an easy to digest way, basic information on visa liberalisation. Besides other information here you can find the reasons why border authorities may refuse your entry into the Schengen area.
