Integration expert Nirvana Deliu was invited to Fax News on the EU-Western Balkans summit and the negotiation process. According to the expert, Albania’s “Rule of Law” cluster is its weakest point in this process. Nirvana addressed this question by claiming that the difference can be attributed to a precise and fundamental reformation of this cluster. The integration expert discussed the importance of bringing attention to the next steps in the process for the six Western Balkan nations that were provided in their updated progress reports following the European Commission’s positive recommendation as this is particularly relevant to the Summit. Without leaving the Ukraine-Russia situation behind, she stated that this summit brought to mind how the Albanian integration process was obstructed by the weak justifications of Greece, and that we may see further positive developments following this summit.
