A2CNN/Gjipali: The Berlin Process relevance for EU integration

On November 3, 2022, Gledis Gjipali/Executive Director of EMA, was on A2 CNN to talk about the “Berlin Process Summit 2022” and its relevance for Albania’s EU integration. He pointed out that even with the change of the  Germany’ Chancellor, the commitment towards this initiative has remained the same. Three agreements were signed during this summit, symbolizing the relevance of the Western Balkans for the EU, despite the Russian attempts to influence the region. Regarding the situation between Kosovo and Serbia, often described as a “frozen conflict”, Gjipali stated that Germany is trying to mediate the talks and that there are positive signs when it come to the visa  liberalization for Kosovo.
