News 24: World Consumer Rights Day

On March 14, 2022, the Executive Director of EMA, Gledis Gjipali was on News24 in the TV program organized with regards to the project “From Information to Action – Empowerment of Organizations on Consumer Protection”, implemented by EMA in collaboration with The Academy of Political Studies and Alert Center supported by the European Union within the IPA 2017 funds. Gjipali said that consumer protection is related to many areas of European integration where the structures of the Partnership Platform have recently been involved. This platform enables the connection between organizations, interest groups and institutions where the problems that are constantly encountered can be addressed. Regarding the project, he mentioned that the main objective is to increase the capacity of CSOs and other non-state actors concerning consumer protection issues and turn them into influential actors in policies and decision-making processes within the integration process.
