Top News, Gjipali: “The Berlin Process does not replace the integration process”

On September 14, 2021, Gledis Gjipali, Executive Director of EMA was invited to “Zero Zone”/ Top News to talk about the visit of German Chancellor Merkel in Tirana. He commented on the political dimension of the Berlin process and the EU-funded economic projects. Regarding the initiative for a common regional market, Gjipali said that Germany seems neutral but encourages regional cooperation within the Berlin Process. He said that this process does not replace integration and that the ultimate goal of the Western Balkan countries is EU membership.
